Believe in Yourself

Believe in Yourself.

I was so lucky to see Oprah live in Auckland this week

She shared a quote –

“I am the master of my fate. I am the captain of my soul.”

Oprah talked about not being scared to be yourself – that “you can be a much better you, than you can any one else.” Just being yourself is the best way to shine through.

Oprah asked “What is your thread? Your reason for being here?

So what is your thread? Your reason for being here?

What makes you feel great, what pulls you forward? When you are doing what your soul really wants to do – what you dream of, when you really tap into the real you, then, you are personally empowered. Honor that call, and listen to your intuition, it is your personal compass that will help you to find your purpose.

“Let no one keep you from your journey. You are the explorer.

You have your own compass to follow your purpose.” Oprah

“Your purpose is whatever you are curious about” – and we should use that purpose to be of service to other people.” Oprah

You have your own unique talents and strengths that you can use to reach your goals and aspirations. Don’t let the little voice inside your head try to talk you out of those exciting and daring things you want to do in your life. Get really quiet and tap into your intuition to guide you. We know what is best for ourselves. It so easy to slip into comparing ourselves with others, wanting to impress others, and worrying about what they might think.

Knowing when you are in the wrong space is your spirit saying you must move away from here. If you are not happy it is a message that you must change.

Trust your intuition. It is your own spiritual GPS. If it excites you, and even if it feels scary, that is a good sign. Feel the fear, listen to your intuition and if it pulls you forward keep going.

Take a leap of faith and begin this wondrous new year by believing. Believe in yourself. And believe that there is a loving Source – a Sower of Dreams – just waiting to be asked to help you make your dreams come true.
